Showcase Artist: Eva Lewarne
Eva Lewarne has enjoyed a varied career in the arts, first specializing in painting, and later moving into photography. She has won many awards for her painting, and has exhibited all over the world, including France, Canada and the United States.
After working with varied subject matter throughout the years, Lewarne now has returned to simplified figures, people she meets in her art community, “Queen West, young and old “Hip” people, the ones who move into an area because the artists are there, the ones who proudly walk their dogs who take on their owner’s expression. As long as I can be involved in art-making, either by brush or camera, I am a happy camper no matter how the clock ticks on. “
