I am really glad to read about the winners and the way the contest was conducted. I have entered many contests that just take the money and don't bother to really contact the people who took the time and money to enter. Thank you so much for the respect and treating this like a real contest.

Publishing a photo book used to require a "publisher". Publishing used to be an action requiring wealth or other. Electronic publication can be a process or it can be a physical item.

I have BLOGs and a seven-figure income. I suppose I should feel like I am in the one-percent but I most certainly am NOT. My income is only 76,543.21 and I think most people must not count the two cents figures. My income is not shown above but the sum illustrates how I count the figures. I am glad I finally broke out of a six-figure income.

I agree very much with all five of your reasons to leave a photo site. I probably do several of them very well. Oops. I suppose that I do not care if you look at my site or remain there. Enough people will read it if there is only two.

Item 3 contains, ironically enough, a misspelling: "statment" rather than "statement". Just saying.

Nice post. You are herein revealing the "wizards behind the curtain" or are pulling back the curtains or mysteries and letting readers know that photographers of the figure are often regular friendly people.
