Note: This is a post from last year, but it still rings very true. One of my site-building clients recently received an email from a company other than the one where her site is hosted. It indicated that she had … Continue reading →
It all began rather quietly March 31, 2017. I awoke, walked into the study, opened the blinds to welcome the weekend. At this time I would usually begin making coffee. Not! Upon opening the blinds I noticed there was one … Continue reading →

Late last year I wrote a post referring to “A fond farewell…” regarding the last issue of Red Dog News as you had grown to appreciate and read it for more than nine-years and 192 issues. I also talked about hibernation, maybe even a deep sleep!
Because of the outpouring of concern and frustration many readers voiced when they read about “A fond farewell…” it appears that the period of the “deep sleep” will be much shorter than I expected. At the present time I have been working on how Red Dog News can best serve its readers.
As a result of what Red Dog News had come to mean to you and me I plan to go back to square one. Shortly, a survey will be sent out to readers in an effort to gather as much input as possible. The new format will again be free; for and about you.
Since the last issue of Red Dog News I haven’t stopped my reading and research. I still follow many newsletters covering a wide variety of the creative spirit, including all arts and the nuts and bolts and tools that are supposed to keep it all together. I am working on a new format and focus for Red Dog News.
As I also wrote at the close of the last post, “I’ll keep you posted on the next adventure…”
Well, I can’t keep you in suspense much longer. Stay tuned!
After 192 issues over the course of nine years, Red Dog News (the newsletter) has published its last issue. Throughout the years, it featured thousands of news clips that informed its readers about tech, reviews, new products, artist profiles, top … Continue reading →
