Your photography bucket list

I hasn’t been a good week for me. A good friend passed away Tuesday. I hadn’t know him that long; he was a client of mine before we became friends… or was it the other way around. A lifelong artist, he and I were putting in the effort to mount a retrospective exhibit of his work. We were looking at an April 2012 target date.

He went into the hospital early in December, just prior to a meeting we had scheduled. I never talked to him again. I did go in once, but he was asleep, and I didn’t want to “bother” him. Of course, at that time, no one knew what his outcome would be. Up until just a few days before his death, we were optimistic.

It saddens me to realize that he won’t be able to see his restrospective through to its culmination. Which brings me to the point of this post: Do it now, do it often, and have fun doing it… whatever “it” is. for many of us so many obligations and responsibilities get in the way of our own private bucket lists.

So, here is my solution: prioritize your list, pick the top item and get it DONE! No use waiting, is there?
